luckily i had brought with me from bretagne france some mohair/wool yarn from a sheep herder woman who has hers sheered and sent off to clean, spin and color.
i belong to the club sexy knitters, and since simply marilyn is sexy i will have the posts about it in here. feel free to join. one friend said she'd knit this one without a collar, it would make a perfect boat-neck sweater. i will go see your blog now, see who that woman is in the photo.

i have had the simply marilyn on my to-knit-list forever. though i don't know that i'll be able to start anytime soon as i don't have any appropriate yarn and my husband has put me on a "yarn embargo" with our little one on the way. but i'd love to watchalong for now, anyway. are you starting a full new blog for the knitalong?

Hi Joyce. That Sweater is beautiful. I saw Marie Antoinette on the plane coming home from Japan. The costumes are magnificent. I love costumes.
